Questions people ask before booking

Booking and pricing

Do you give estimates?

Yes. We do free in-home estimates. We can also estimate from photos and a detailed description of what you’re moving.

How far ahead should I book?

As early as you can. Month-end and summer weekends fill up first. In winter, snow or ice can slow a day down, so leave a little breathing room in your schedule.

What affects the price?

Crew size, how many hours the job takes, the truck fee for your area, and any packing, supplies or specialty items. Our hourly rates are on the Pricing page, and long-distance jobs are quoted before we start.

How do I pay?

Cash or check is preferred. A 3% fee applies when you pay by card. Payment is due at the end of service.

What if I need to cancel or reschedule?

We have no cancellation policy. If you need to reschedule, we fit you in on the next available date.

Do you charge extra for stairs?

No. We don’t charge extra for stairs or long carries.

Our crew and services

Where do you work?

We’re based in Prescott and move people across Yavapai County, the Verde Valley and the Phoenix area, including Scottsdale, Glendale, Peoria, Tempe, Mesa, Chandler and Gilbert. We also move people in and out of Arizona.

What do you move?

Homes, apartments, offices and shops, plus furniture and large-item deliveries. Call us about anything unusual.

Are your movers employees?

Yes. Our movers are trained employees who work in uniform.

Packing and moving-day tips

How early should I start packing?

Start two to three weeks ahead. Pack the rooms you use least first, such as the garage, guest room and off-season clothes. Sort as you go. Since moves are billed by the hour, the fewer things you move, the less time the job takes.

How do I label boxes?

Write the destination room on the top and one side of every box, plus a short note about what’s inside. Pack a box of essentials, like toiletries, chargers, bedding and basic tools, and keep it where you can reach it first.

How do I pack fragile items?

Wrap dishes and glasses one at a time, stand plates on their edges, and fill empty gaps so nothing shifts. Mark the box fragile and put it on top in the truck. We can pack for you at our regular hourly rate if you’d rather not.

How do I get ready for moving day?

Clear a path to the door and save a parking spot near the entrance for the truck. Empty and defrost the refrigerator the day before. Set aside valuables, documents, medications and chargers and keep them with you.
